GingerbreadSoft, moist gingerbread flavoured with spices and molasses is a favourite Christmas treat.

Ingredients
1 cup sugar
1 cup vegetable oil
2 eggs
4 cups flour
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. baking soda
1 cup molasses
4 tsp. ginger
½ tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1-½ cups hot water

Directions
Mix all ingredients together. Pour into a greased and floured loaf pan. Bake at 350°F for one hour.
