- Sophia was born in Guyana
- She received her pharmacy education at the University of Guyana and the University of Technology, Jamaica
- She has been a community pharmacist for over eight years; practicing in Guyana for more than four years and three years in Antigua
- Sophia strongly supports patient counseling and the pharmaceutical care concept
- She is sincere and always willing to help whenever necessary
- Her hobbies include cooking, gardening, swimming and snorkeling
